The Duplin County Development Commission recruits new industry to the Duplin area , and supports existing industry. Its mission is to promote job growth, diversify the County's industrial mix, and expand the local tax base. Research data, printed materials, and prospect missions are components of the Commission's efforts. The Commission works very closely with the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the Global TransPark Authority and the Global TransPark Development Commission.
